UFit gym, in Cardiff, Wales has provoked the wrath of its members and women folk in general with this 'cheeky' advert featuring an image of a woman's round bum, alongside the text "there's better things to be stuck behind than the car in front".
The ad has prompted a massive social media backlash after people accused it of sexism and objectification.
I am going to keep tweeting this sexist advert from my gym, @ufit_fitness, so that lecturers in #sexist advertising can find it easier. pic.twitter.com/hNEkDiFC4n— Alice Gray (@AliceJaneGray) October 2, 2016
Not a particularly appropriate or empowering advert on the @CardiffHalf route. I'd be shocked if title sponsor @cardiffuni supported it pic.twitter.com/SoWxbcj75a— nattylou (@nattylou) October 2, 2016
Oh fuck off @ufit_fitness. Where to begin with this? Women don't go to the gym to be perved on and treated as a sex object by men. pic.twitter.com/fR3D4itIM3— Kayleigh Bell (@_kayleighbell) October 5, 2016
