- TILB : Welcome to hot seat Monday, can you tell us about yourself?
John Andza: I'm John .M. Andza , I'm from Benue state, first son of 4 boys and a girl, I currently work at Leadway& also an entrepreneur
- TILB : So how does it feel being the first son
John Andza: There is a certain amount of pressure that's comes with it like I have to be good with everything I do,be responsible & I try to set a good examples for my younger ones
TILB: What was growing up like? Were you a stubborn or quite kid?
John Andza: Hmm it was not bad, mom was very strict, she doesn't use cane or koboko just her one punch is enough one would think she is a boxer but my dad was very gentle so it was fun for me tho and yes, I was a stubborn kid
- TILB : It's kind of the opposite of what most Nigerians parents are like. The dads are usually the strict ones
John Andza: Not my dad, he's very quiet. he would stay in the house & you won't know he's around or hear his voice
- TILB : What did you study in the university?
John Andza: I studied accounting at Joseph Ayo Babalola University
- TILB : Have always wanted to be an accountant?
John Andza: Hmm not really I always wanted to be a footballer but I love accounting & I did so well in it in school
- TILB : So what happened to the football dream
John Andza: My mom didn't want that for me I don't like disappointing her so I just closed that chapter
- TILB : Do you regret the decision or are you happy you obeyed her?
John Andza: I don't regret any decision I take concerning my life....
- TILB : If your kid decides to become/study something you don't approve of, what will you do?
John Andza: Well I'm just gonna support my kid on anything he's or she want to do with her life.
- TILB : What do you for fun?
John Andza: I love to travel, read books, hang out
- TILB : You must be a fun person.Where is the favourite place you have traveled to?
John Andza: ‘Benue state’ I love the reception I get whenever I go there
- TILB : Do you have anywhere you really want to visit?
John Andza: Yea sure... Spain Barcelona I'm a barca fan
- TILB : Send us pictures when you finally travel
John Andza: Lol alright that will be awesome
- TILB : You said you are also an entrepreneur, who do you do?
John Andza: I'm into agricultural business I & some colleagues from secondary school started a small company called ARMI we are into rice, honey & catfish. We started that last year
- TILB : That'sreally good, seeing the way the country is going with its dependence on oil. People like you are what we need in this country.
John Andza: You wouldn't blame them that’s where the money at, if I had money I would join in to invest in oil as well.
- TILB: Don't you think that it's the dependence on oil that is causing most of the economic problems Nigeria is facing now? Statistics has shown that there isn't money in oil business like there used to be. So when you say if you had money, you would have invested in oil too, do you believe that is a good idea
John Andza: Oil business is a very vast & wide business & there is so many opportunities in it, if you tell an average Nigerian that you wanna go into the business the first thing to there mind is oil well
- TILB : So you think it was a wise a decision for Nigeria to depend on oil?
John Andza: Obviously no there is many sector that the Nigerian government are not looking into.
- TILB : Do you believe in Buhari's administration?
John Andza: Yea I voted for him and his tenure is not yet over so I believe in him for now.
- TILB : What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
John Andza: Lol so many... Hmm when I was JSS 2 I woke late for morning prep so I before could get done bathing they locked the hostel so I couldn't get to change to my uniform so I was with only with my towel so I had to go to class like that outta no where someone just took my towel from my waist & ran off...Mehn I literally went to class like that. And no one was kind enough to hand me a wrapper or something to cover up
- TILB : Wow! That must have been really embarrassing
John Andza: Yea it was..
- TILB : So all through the day, you were without your clothes?
John Andza: Just for the morning prep it was 5:30 am to 6:30 am
- TILB : That must have been the longest hour of your life.
John Andza: Lol probably the coldest
- TILB : Where do you see yourself in five years?
John Andza: Hmm I don't really know I don't plan my life like that.... Maybe get married have kids done with my master degree involve myself in more business enterprise
- TILB : What is your take on domestic violence? as a man do you think there is anything a Lady will do that will justify a man beating her?
John Andza: Domestic violence or abuse is wrong for both male & female.. No one deserved to been beaten regardless of what he or she may have done in the relationship
- TILB : Are you presently in any relationship?
John Andza: Nah
- TILB: Yeey! Ladies in the house stand up and dance
John Andza: Eh My blog baby EA Kemi no go gree oh
- TILB: The ladies will fight, may the best lady win😃
John Andza: Nah I get my eyes on Kemi already...
- TILB : Aww... We are happy, sheis a lailan
- TILB : What do you think of Laila's blog. How did you hear of the blog?
John Andza: Heard about it on Twitter. Laila’s blog is like a family
- TILB : Have you met any of the readers before?
John Andza: Nah, but I'll will loveto meet Pamela,Austin, Derrick,Feliquincy,Bamidele, Joy arsenal,Bonita,Olusoji RT, ZHand Monica infact all of them
- TILB : You aware of the party being planned right? Hope we will see you there?
John Andza: Yea I'll be there
